Macbeth*
Experience the rise and fall of one of Shakespeare’s greatest characters, Macbeth, in this straightforward retelling of the Bard’s classic tragedy of ambition. Complete with broadsword fighting, kilts, witches and the incomparable Lady Macbeth, this version will thrill both students and teachers alike as we explore the mystery and myth of eleventh century Scotland! Macbeth has been selected by the National Endowment for the Arts as part of its Shakespeare in American Communities program.

Recommended for Grades 9-12

Alice in Wonderland
Meet Alice a bored “tween” in search of adventure. She finds it and then some when she ventures down the rabbit hole in Lewis Carroll’s classic story which features some of the most memorable and off-beat characters in all of literature. The White Rabbit, The Queen of Hearts, The Cheshire Cat and The Mad Hatter are just a few of the zany inhabitants of Wonderland who will leave students feeling “curioser and curioser.”

Recommended for Grades K-5

This assortment of Shakespeare’s greatest scenes and monologues features a delightful collection of lovers from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing, the marvelous madmen of Hamlet, Richard III and Othello and the poetic soul of the Shakespeare featured in plays like The Tempest, Twelfth Night and the sonnets. Songs and audience participation are also a key element in this collage of memorable language, characters and plays.

Global Celebrations:  Holidays of Light!
**Limited Run:  Opens November 9 and runs through December 18
This collection of stories, traditions and customs focuses on the origins of holiday traditions from Europe, Africa, Asia and Central America and how those traditions are passed down from generation to generation.  The common fabric in these customs is the use of light as part of the celebration. Festive songs, colorful costumes and dance will be a large part of a presentation guaranteed to warm the holiday heart.
