Camp Shakespeare 2012

Georgia Shakespeare offers exciting opportunities for children during the summer, with two-week programs for all age groups.  Best of all, there is NO audition required.

Camp Shakespeare is all new for 2012!

Participants explore the world and the plays of William Shakespeare and are exposed to acting exercises, improvisation, scenework, theatre games and stage combat along the way. This fun and action- packed camp culminates on the final day with a performance for friends and family. 
Ages 7-12
Cost: $350

Camp Shakespeare Session I
Monday - Friday, June 18-29, 2012
9:00a.m.- 4:00p.m.

Camp Shakespeare Session II
Monday - Friday, July 9 - July 20, 2012

High School Conservatory

Ages 14-18

For the serious young actor, this two-week intensive is an opportunity to work with members of Georgia Shakespeare's award winning company of actors in the areas of voice and text, movement, monologues and scene-work. In addition there are seminars in stage combat and audition technique. Participants learn one monologue and one scene from Shakespeare to be performed for friends and family on the Conant stage.

When: Tuesday thru Saturday July 24th-August 4th, 2012
Cost: $600.00
