This one day opportunity will cover monologues, scene-work and improvisation and give you the solid acting foundation you need to succeed whether you are interested in trying out for the school play, auditioning for college programs, film and T.V work or just curious about what it takes to be an actor.

Grades 3-5
Explore the hilariously fabulous, raucously rambunctious, comedic characters of Shakespeare's plays. From Touchstone to Falstaff to Beatrice to Bottom, we'll cover it all with engaging activities, improvisation games, voice and movement exercises, and a themed craft project. This class is a great way to expose your child to Shakespeare in a fun, low-key, and entertaining way. Please have your child bring a sack lunch. Snack will be provided.
Shakespeare Villains
Date: February 18, 2012
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Grades 3-5
Get to know the notorious bad guys of Shakespeare's plays. Everyone loves playing the villain, and now is your chance! From the nefarious Iago to the tragic Macbeth; the conspirators, thieves, and evil-doers will be noted. Tastefully and theatrically we will explore the stories and characters with engaging activities, improvisation games, voice and movement exercises, and a themed craft project. This class is a great way to expose your child to Shakespeare in a fun, low-key, and entertaining way. Please have your child bring a sack lunch. Snack will be provided.
Shakespeare Supernaturals

Grades 3-5
Come play in the magical worlds of Shakespeare's plays. Explore what it's like to be a fairy, sprite, ghost, sorceror, and goblin by portraying some of Shakespeare's most delightful supernatural characters. From the mischievous Puck to the prophetic Three Witches, we will dance, sing, and stretch our imaginations with engaging activities, improvisation games, voice and movement exercises, and a themed craft project. This class is a great way to expose your child to Shakespeare in a fun, low-key, and entertaining way. Please have your child bring a sack lunch. Snack will be provided.
Shakespeare Legends
Date: March 24, 2012
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Grades 3-5
Learn about the great heroes and famous heroines of Shakespeare's plays. Lead armies, explore the life of royalty, fight for love, uncover the truth, and rule the world. Explore the journey of what it takes to be a legend by diving into the roles of Henry V, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Pericles, Julius Caesar, and Antony and Cleopatra. With engaging activities, improvisation games, voice and movement exercises, and a themed craft project, we'll learn about these memorable characters and even a little history too! This class is a great way to expose your child to Shakespeare in a fun, low-key, and entertaining way. Please have your child bring a sack lunch. Snack will be provided.
