The Gospel of John

It took nearly five months for Georgia Shakespeare Associate Artisit Brad Sherrill to memorize all 20,000 words of The Gospel of John. He had plans to perform it just once at his home church in Atlanta, but has since presented John’s gospel over 500 times in professional theaters and churches across the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Ireland. Brad is bringing his celebrated touring performance back to Georgia Shakespeare for a special one-week engagement.
With perhaps a dozen very simple props used in a variety of ways, Sherrill transforms the gospel into a captivating drama, presenting the entire story of the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Cost: $10.00 per student*

*To show our appreciation, Georgia Shakespeare offers one complimentary chaperone ticket for every 20 students attending the performance. It is important to us that all students attending our student matinees get the best performance experience possible. We value the teachers, administrators, and chaperones that take time to bring students to our student matinee performances.

Homeschool Camp Shakespeare
Camp Shakespeare provides students ages 7 to 12 the opportunity to explore the magic of live theatre and take the Bard's words off of the page and onto the stage, as campers craft their very own performance.
