Summer Festival THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST
The Importance of Being Earnest

By Oscar Wilde
Directed by Sabin Epstein

July 5 - August 3

Travel back in time to Victoria’s England, where you will meet some real characters...

The turn of the century brought us some of the most treasured and clever tales in literature, and those of the great Oscar Wilde are no exception.  His comedic masterpiece follows the exploits of two young men – Jack and Algernon – each masquerading as a libertine named Ernest in order to pursue his lady love. But when they are caught in the act, a true farce unfolds, and a very real Ernest is revealed.

*Appropriate for ages 8 and up
